The University of Nebraska-Lincoln's 300-member Cornhusker Marching Band makes its 2017 debut Sept. 2 at Memorial Stadium with pregame and halftime performances at Nebraska's football season opener against Arkansas State.

More than 100 Knox College student-athletes were named to the Midwest Conference's Academic All-Conference list for the 2016-17 academic year and athletic season. The criteria to become an Academic All-Conference selection includes a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.33, which is calculated only in the awarded academic year. First-year students, sophomores, juniors, and seniors who letter in any of the MWC's fall, winter or spring sports are eligible for the award. Several of the honorees were recognized for the academic achievements while playing more than one sport.
