Twenty senior students have been selected as University of Nebraska-Lincoln Homecoming royalty finalists.

Nearly 150 upper class students in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences will be serving as Peer Mentors in the college's 20 Learning Communities for the 2016-2017 academic year. Mentors help new students in the college make the transition to life at Iowa State University. These selected Peer Mentors are often involved with organizing study groups, social events, and out-of-class activities. University of Iowa undergraduate Caroline Wadman, psychology major from Omaha, Nebraska, and her faculty mentor, Gerene Denning, research director in the Department of Emergency Medicine, will participate in the 20th annual Posters on the Hill event, a selective poster session sponsored by the Council on Undergraduate Research (CUR), April 19-20 in Washington, D.C. Sixty projects were selected from several hundred highly competitive applications from undergraduate students across the nation.
